VUCIC: World Bank's expert help in securing Serbia's economic growth

On July 4, at the Paris conference of the leaders of the Western Balkans, Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic asked the representatives of the World Bank to help Serbia to form the expert team for the growth of Serbian economy in the next ten years.

As the Government of Serbia announced, in his talks with Cyrill Muller, Vice President of the World Bank for Europe and Central Asia, Vucic emphasized the importance of education reforms and the World Bank's aid in harmonizing the curricula of academic institutions with the needs of the economy.

He also pointed to the importance of the development of entrepreneurship as the foundation for economic growth and increased employment.

Vice President of the World Bank emphasized that good news of economic reforms were only coming from the Western Balkans and congratulated Vucic on successful economic reforms, on maintaining financial stability throughout the process of fiscal consolidation, improving the investment climate and Serbia's contribution to the preparation of the action plan for facilitating the trade and transport in the Western Balkans, the announcement states.
