Growth of loan activity in Serbia

The total loans for the economy, entrepreneurs and citizens in Serbia at the end of June 2016 amounted to RSD 2,198 billion, which is 1.8% less than in May, announced the Association of Serbian Banks on Monday, July 4.

Loans to enterprises amounted to around RSD 1,401 billion and are 2% higher than they were a month before. The total citizen loans increased by 1.3% to RSD 751 billion, and entrepreneur loans increased by 1% to RSD 46.5 billion.

At the end of June, repayment of 12% of total loans was late, which is lower by 0.6% relative to May. The share of legal entity loans the repayment of which is late dropped from 15.3% to 14.3%. Repayment of 16.1% entrepreneur loans and 7.3% citizen loans was late.
