Agreement between municipality and Apatin's brewery - agreement on construction of Aqua park in Junaković spa

According to the agreement between municipality of Apatin and Apatin's brewery, the right to use the land in Block 9, where the wells are located, will be given to the Brewery. In return, it will help development of the municipality with 3.5m EUR and it will finance Football Club "Mladost" with 500,000 EUR.

According to the web site of municipality of Apatin, the first installment of 2.5m EUR will be paid prior to January 15 and remaining 1m EUR will be paid prior to mid-March. This money will be used for construction of aqua-park within the complex of Junaković spa.

As Dr Živorad Smiljanić pointed out at the meeting of the Municipal Council, aqua park will occupy 4,500 square meters, it will have six indoor swimming pools and two on the first floor of the central building, and construction requires another 3.5m EUR. Eight-lane bawling room will be built in the complex of Junaković spa from the funds from the National Investment Plan and it will be used for organization of European contests. Its construction will cost 90m RSD.

Municipality of Apatin obtained 4m EUR in 2007 from NIP, and another 4m EUR were approved in December. The funds will be used for reconstruction and broadening of the capacities of the spa resort - 43 beds will be introduced - completion of construction of sewerage system, water factory and marina with gas station.

In villages Prigrevica, Sonta, Svilojevo and Kupusina, sewerage systems, gas network and cable and internet network will be built also from the funds fro NIP.
