Changes in Law on telecommunications soon - agency for issuing of licenses to new postal operators to be founded

Changes and supplements to the Law on telecommunications, which will be completed soon, anticipate introduction of inspection and procedures for issuing of licenses in the Republic Telecommunications Agency - Minister of Telecommunications and IT Society, Aleksandra Smiljanić, announced yesterday (January 10, 2008).

She pointed out that the agency for postal services would be founded and that it would be issuing licenses to the new postal operators. Also, the public discussion about changes in Law on electronic signature, which stipulates conditions for issuing of qualified electronic certificates, keeping of records about certification bodies, their registry and technical-technological procedures for forming of qualified electronic signature, started yesterday.
