The prices of roaming services for the people of Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia were further lowered on July 1, stated the Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic.

The lower roaming prices in the four countries of the region are the result of the implementation of the second phase of the agreement which Ljajic signed in September 2014 with the competent Ministers of Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia.

Ljajic specified that, in accordance with the agreement, starting on July 1, the outgoing roaming calls in the four countries will be charged EUR 0.24 a minute instead of EUR 0.29, whereas incoming roaming calls will be charged EUR 0.07 a minute instead of EUR 0.08.

The price of an individual text message will be EUR 0.08 instead of EUR 0.09, said Ljajic, whereas, as he added, the price of using the internet dropped from EUR 0.70 per MB to EUR 0.45.

- The price of using roaming services in the four countries of the region are in average lower by around 20% starting today. Furthermore, we will not stop there, since, starting with July 1 of the next year, we will have even lower prices of roaming in Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia – concluded Ljajic.
