NIS market share reaches 15% – 50,000 people supported by NIS in Serbia

Kravchenko pointed out, at the presentation of the NIS report on sustainable development for 2015, that the company had increased its market share from 8% to 15% since 2009.
The total production of local oil and gas in 2015, as he says, dropped by 5%, whereas at the same time, the reserves increased by 8%.
The Serbian market, as he says, gained 12 new petrol stations in 2015, and the production of electric energy increased by 69% relative to 2014, when NIS sold its first quantity of electric energy produced in its facilities.
In talking about human resources, Kravchenko said that NIS found quality human resources ready to face all challenges of modern business activities to be very important, and that RSD 250 million had been invested in educating them. He added that NIS had 11,000 employees, but also a large network of subcontractors, and that the number of people supported by NIS reached 50,000.
NIS has, as he says, supported local projects through various programs, and in talking about environmental protection, he said that NIS had invested RSD 627 million in the realization of various projects in 2015.
