In associaton with the Sombor company for furniture production "Tra-duga", "Lesnina" invested 4m EUR in the facility of about 2,000 square meters and created conditions for hiring of 30, and later even 200 workers.

- This is only one of many good investments that came from Slovenia - said the Provincial Secretary of Economy, Siniša Lazić, who also pointed out that the investment of capital through strategic partnership was part of long-term economic strategy of Vojvodina.

CEO of "Lesnina", Bojan Papić, pointed out that that company covered one third of Slovenian and Croatian furniture market and he added that the penetration on the market of Serbia had started with the opening of that showroom and that it would be resumed with the opening of several similar facilities and large showrooms (of 20,000 square meters) in Belgrade, Niš and Novi Sad.
