The representatives of EBRD are very interested in Kragujevac, considering the investments in the total amount of EUR 15 million, of which 10 million will be realized in the first tranche, followed by the remaining five million, stated mayor Radomir Nikolic.
According to him, EUR 2.5 million is planned for the procurement of waste containers and new trucks for the waste management PUE Cistoca. The tender has already been placed, and it is expected that the procurement will be completed by this autumn, so the city's utility enterprise will have fully renewed its rolling stock, reports the website of the city of Kragujevac.
EUR 7.5 million is planned for the road infrastructure in industrial zones, and the remaining EUR 5 million is meant for the construction of a new bus station in Kragujevac.
By equipping the industrial zone, pointed out Nikolic, we will be able to realize everything that has so far been negotiated with potential investors, and that means direct investments in the future of Kragujevac.
It was a great honor for Kragujevac to have been the host of the EBRD delegation, stated the mayor and added that the delegation consisted of EBRD leaders who represent 36 countries in the Board of Directors.
