Tigar from Pirot in the black
The company JSC Tigar recorded a profit of RSD 18.8 million in 2015, for the first time after many years.
This was announced at the Annual General Meeting on June 23, on which financial reports for 2015 were adopted, the independent auditor for 2016 elected, changes to the company’s Statute adopted and the new member of the Supervisory Board Nikola Radenkovic named.
According to director general Branislav Curic, the most significant indicators of business activities EBIT and EBITDA continue to show the growth and point to a stabilization trend in the company’s business activities even after 2015.
- The burdening factor in current activities are obligations from the previous period, which need to be financed in line with the PPRP. We’ve just ended a phase of consolidating the system which encompassed an array of activities, the most important of which are the preparation and validity of the PPRP, rationalization of activities on all grounds, stabilization of the market position and the creation of the opportunity for penetrating new markets through exporting above all – says Curic.
He emphasizes the importance of the construction of the new 1,780 m2 factory for the production of rubber compounds, a self-financed investment worth EUR 1.2 million.
