AIK Bank gets authority for the takeover of Gorenjska Bank

AIK Bank has gotten a green light from the European Central Bank for the takeover of Gorenjska Bank. The bank owned by Miodrag Kostic's MK Group has waited for the green light since January 2016 when it become the owner of 14% of Gorenjska Bank.

It is speculated that AIK Bank is a possible buyer of a 50% share of Gorenjska Bank, which will be sold by Sava together with the consortium of owners.

The representative of AIK Bank Jelena Galic became a member of the Supervisory Board of Gorenjska Bank at the recently held session.
