"Metalac" exported goods in 17 mil euros in 2007

The metalprocessing company " METALAC" realized the export of 17 mil euros value in the year 2007.

The General Manager of this company, the biggest exporter in the region of Gornji Milanovac, Mr Petrasin Jakovljevic, said that this amount of export means the 18% increase in comparison with the year 2006.

-Almost half of the total amount of export was realized at the market of Russia, but we have to say that the increment was notified also at the market of France and some other neighbourhood countries, he said.

In "Metalac" company they are planning to realize the total income in the year 2008 of 84 mil euros and the profit of about 5 mil euros and to increase the export to the market of United States of America.

-By the Strategic Plan of the Development of Serbia until 2012 it is stipulated that GDP grows 7 %, but we have realized the growth of 16% in the last year, that is very optimistic, highlighted the General Manager of the "Metalac" company.

In this company they plan to invest this year about 7 mil euros into the finalization of the project of the boiler factory, in enlargement of the dish factory and into the acquisition of the new vehicles for the international transport, said Mr Jakovljevic
