There are plans for EUR 15 million of investments in Zajecar Brewery in the next two years, announced the company Heineken Serbia, under which the brewery is operating, on June 17.

As it was said, since 2008, when Zajecar Brewery started operating under Heineken Serbia, EUR 23 million has been invested in the brewery. Further reconstruction and revitalization of the brewery is in progress, along with the planned investments of an additional EUR 15 million in the next two years, stated the company.

Zajecar Brewery, as it was reported, was visited by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Serbia Henk van den Dool in order for him to become familiar with the operation and technological processes of the brewery. He talked with the company's representatives about further cooperation and investments. Dool expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation with the company and emphasized that he was proud of Heineken's operations and accomplishments in Serbia and Zajecar Brewery's success in reaching high standards of production, both technological and environmental.

Heinken employs 73,000 people, and the company operates in 167 breweries, malt houses and other production facilities in more than 70 countries. In Serbia, Heineken is actively operating in two breweries, Zajecar Brewery and Novi Sad Brewery
