Another tender for BIP capacities placed – Production of 10,000 hectoliters of beer a month projected

The bids may be made by the companies which produce beer, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and the investment funds and other financial institutions which didn't record losses in 2014 and 2015.

The contract with the best bidder will envision the obligatory production of at least 10,000 hectoliters of beer a month, the continuation of the production of vinegar and the engagement of at least 100 former BIP workers.

The bidding deadline is July 1 and the Board of Creditors of BIP will reach the decision on the preferred bidder no later than July 8.

The second attempt to lease BIP failed this March. The Bankruptcy Supervision Agency canceled the collection of written bids for the business and technical cooperation, called on March 9.

BIP has been in bankruptcy since September 2015 due to its large debts.

According to the earlier data by the Ministry of Economy, BIP recorded a loss of RSD 550 million at the end of the fiscal year 2014, and its cumulative obligations were an additional RSD 2,5 billion as of September 2015.
