Italians interested in opening a footwear factory in Sid – Employment of 250 workers planned

This was confirmed following the meeting held between the representatives of the Italian company and the head people of the municipality of Sid. Head of the municipality of Sid Predrag Vukovic talked to potential Italian investors. The investment would reach several million and would enable the employment of 150 to 250 new workers in the first phase.

To the end of increasing the number of jobs, the new municipal authority is working hard on creating the conditions for the arrival of the investors and the opening of new factories.

The Italian company can benefit greatly from investing in Serbia, and there are talks at the moment with the Serbian Development Agency. The investors will come to their final decision in the next twenty days.
