Part of "Agroživ" to be sold on auction on January 25, 2008

Privatization Agency announced yesterday (December 25, 2007) that between 3 and 20% of capital of four companies from "Agroživ" system would offered for sale on auction on January 25, 2008, at starting price of 66.21m RSD.

Shares of the Share Fund and Republic Pension and Disability Insurance Fund in companies "Agroživ Kovin", "Agroživ komerc" from Pančevo, "Agroživ Panonija" from Crepaja and "Agroživ Dobrica" will be offered for sale on the auction.

Auction documentation can be procured between December 25 and 28, 2007, and between January 8 and 16, 2008. The deadline for applications is January 17. Deposit for participation in the auction is 50% of the starting price.

Starting price for 3.18% of "Agroživ Kovin" is 739,000 RSD. Business incomes of "Agroživ Kovin" in 2006 amounted to 199.78m RSD, while its business expenses in the same year amounted to 222.69m RSD.

The package that will be offered for sale will also include 11.18% of "Agroživ komerc" at starting price of 6.6m RSD. In 2006, business incomes of that company, which is in furniture business, amounted to 223.3m RSD, while its expenses equalled 266.47m RSD.

Starting price of 2.7% of capital of company "Agroživ Dobrica" is 4.42m RSD. Last year, that company, which grows wheat and other crops, had business incomes in amount of 96.16m RSD and 104.24m RSD worth of expenses.
