New unit of Foundry Cimos opened, Slovenians to invest another €38m

The new unit "Insert" has been opened in Kikinda-based foundry "Cimos" for production of castings of steel mold for turbo-compressors in the automobiles. At this moment, these castings are produced only in this foundry because the Slovenian “Cimos“, majority owner of foundry, has "exlusive right" to this production.

President of corporation "Cimos", Franc Krašovec, has announced that, starting from September, the program for processing of turbines for "Renault", "Peugeot" and "BMW", in which citizens of Kopar will invest additional €23m. "Cimos" will provide €12m for investment in unit in Unit for smelting and machine processing of aluminum products for needs of automobile industry. "Cimos" will invest €3m in the unit for production of agricultural machine in Novi Kneževac.
