Đorđe Nicović, who took over textile industry Prvi Maj from Pirot few months ago, is getting ready to take over Mura as well. According to Slovenian daily newspaper “Dnevnik“, the takeover would be helped by Milan Merec who was a member of the administration of "Mura" from Murska Sobota until recently.

Slovenian radio television company reminds on its web site that Nicović is also one of the buyers of one of the largest agricultural combines in Serbia - "PIK Bečej", through his company "Irva Investicije". President of the Supervisory Board of "Mura", Roman Ambrož, is not familiar with preparations for takeover of "Mura".

The largest owner of that company, NFD Holding, has not received any offer for takeover. Also, even the second largest owner of "Mura", Slovenian Indemnification Company, has not received any offer for sale of stocks. CEO of that Fund, Marko Pogačnik, reminded that there had not been interested bidders on the public tender for sale of Mura’s stocks owned by "Sod" that summer.

“Dnevnik“ also states that the price of "Mura’s" stocks would amount to 1.5-2 EUR per stock, while between 6.45 and 8.6m EUR would be needed for takeover of 100% of "Mura".
