Chinese investments in Kragujevac - Construction of farm with capacity of 100.000 pigs underway

President of the Society for economic and trade cooperation and friendship between Serbia and the People's Republic of China Brane Cvetinovic, said that the investment of Chinese partners in Serbia increased and that Chinese businessmen are ready for various forms of cooperation with businessmen from Serbia.
- Chinese businessmen are interested in export of all available quantities of soybeans and all kinds of meat. Since these are large quantities, because market is large, domestic meat producers are not in a position to respond to these demands, so they started investing in cattle breeding - Cvetinovic says.
The first project, which is expected to be completed by the end of this year is construction of a farm in Kragujevac.
He points out businessmen from China are interested in investing in Vojvodina as well and in all types of agricultural production, but above all, production of fruits, vegetables and processed fruit and vegetables, meat, soy, soy oil and all this in large quantities.
