"Carlsberg Serbia" to invest 34m EUR in development of capacities

Company "Carlsberg Serbia" has announced that it will invest 34m EUR in 2008 in development and broadening of capacities.
General Manager of that company, Isaac Scheps, said that the brewery in Čelarevo should increase production to 2m hl of beer in 2008.- In 2007, "Carlsberg Serbia" registered sales growth of 21.9% (1.5m hectoliters of the most quality beer) - said he and added that that beer was sold on the markets of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Scheps pointed out that "Carlsberg Serbia" "holds solid second position" on Serbian beer market with marker share of 22.4%.
Multinational company "Carlsberg" invested 118m EUR in Serbia since 2004 when it bought Brewery "Čelarevo".
