Dr. Oetker opens plant in Simanovci - Investment totaling EUR 9,5 m

German company Dr. Oetker opened in Simanovci the first plant in Serbia where it invested EUR 9.5 m and where 192 employees will operate in. The factory is located in the business complex of 8,000 square meters where warehouse and office space is.

The plant's capacity is 6,000 tons of annual production of 115 kinds mainly powder products brands of Dr. Oetker and current "C brand" – former product line of Centroproizvod.

Production is planned for sale at the market of Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Albania.

Putting the plant into operation was attended by management of German company, Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, minister of economy Zeljko Sertic, ambassador of Germany to Serbia Aksel Ditman, President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce Marko Čadez.

Dr. Oetker is a family company with a tradition of over 120 years and app. 7,000 workers. The company has been operating in Serbia since 2001 when it had 12 employees, and in 2011 it took over sweet and powdery product line of Centroproizvod and 123 employees of the company.
