Norwegian-Serbian business forum to be set up

After long waiting, May 18 will officially see the opening of the Norwegian- Serbian Business Forum which aims at strengthening cooperation between Serbian and Norwegian companies and institutions.At the initiative of Arna Bjornstad Sanes, the Norwegian Ambassador to Belgrade and Milan Simurdic, former Serbian ambassador in Oslo, a group of business people from Norway and Serbia decided to set up a forum and increase trade and exchange of knowledge between the two countries.According Age Saxlund, one of the founders, the idea is to support individuals and companies in Serbia which want to go to the Norwegian market and vice versa.The forum is designed as a non-profit organization - a neutral arena for companies or individuals who are looking for information on how to start business or develop a business in Norway or Serbia. The forum will be a Norwegian entity with a branch office in Serbia. In terms of its structure, the main body will be a Board of Directors comprising the Norwegians and Serbs.
