Tigar boosted sales in 1Q, loss reduced to RSD 81m

Pirot-based Tigar reported consolidated sales for 1Q16 at RSD 836.9m, which is up 19.5% y/y.
Consolidated operating profit was up 86.3% y/y to RSD 47.5m, while high financial expenses resulted in a net loss of RSD 81.1m, which is still better versus RSD 110.9m loss from 2015. Tigar Footwear unit saw 30% higher sales in the period, due to the changes in a sales mix in favor of safety and fashion footwear. The stock is up 31.6% YTD, while at a last share price of RSD 100 the company is valued at EUR 1.4m.
