Privatization of largest transportation company in Leskovac - tender announced for "Jugekspres"

Privatization Agency announced public invitation yesterday (December 11, 2007) for tender sale of 70% of public capital in the largest transportation company in Leskovac - Public Company "Jugekspres". Tender documentation will be available to all interested participants in the tender after signing of the Contract on keeping of confidential data and after payment of fee for tender documentation in amount of 8,000 EUR in dinars.

The Agency has chosen consortium of "BPA London Limited" from Great Britain and "Zastava partner" from Kragujevac to be adviser in the privatization procedure.

The condition for procurement is that the interested buyer is in public transportation business for at least last three years and that his business income in 2006 amounted to at least 4m EUR.

Tender documentation will be available starting from December 10, and requests for procurement can be submitted prior to January 25, 2008. Deadline for final obligatory bids for procurement of 70% of public capital is February 15, 2008.
