"Galeb Group" opened factory of metal packaging in Šabac

President of company "Galeb Group", Radoslav Veselinović, opened the factory of metal packaging yesterday (December 11, 2007) in Šabac. This factory was built by "Galeb Group".

More than 8m EUR have been invested in the factory, about 2m EUR of which were invested in the unit for white sheet metal cutting.

- Our wish was to make the factory that is modern and that can be the factory for the region of southeast Europe - said Veselinović.

He pointed out that the aim of the company was that that factory becomes one of the best in Europe. He added that "Galeb Group" had seven production units.

Vice President of the company, Dejan Džagić, said that the company expected triple growth of production within following five years and added that the factory was equipped with safety and control equipment of the latest generation.

Company "Galeb Group" exists for 30 years and it deals with distribution of tools, electronics, fiscal cash registers, metal processing and telecommunications.

The new factory will be producing decorative tins and packaging, offset plates, bottle caps, aluminum tubes, aerosol bottles, PET pre-forms for plastic bottles.
