"Delta Maxi" covers 6.4% of market in Serbia - information provided by Republic Statistics Institute

According to the data of the Republic Statistics Institute, company "Delta Maxi" was covering 6.4% of retail market in Serbia and 11.6% in Belgrade in the first half of year 2007.

The information that was delivered to company "Delta" by the Institute shows that total turnover in retail trade in Serbia in that period amounted to 414 billion RSD, while the turnover of "Delta Maxi", including "Pekabeta" and "C market", amounted to 26.7 billion RSD, 19 billion RSD of which were realized in Belgrade.

Share of "Delta Maxi" in retail trade in food, drinks and cigarettes in the first six months of year 2007 amounted to 17.2% in Serbia, on the basis of turnover worth 20.6 billion RSD

"Delta Maxi" covered 32.5% of Belgrade's market with 14.8 billion RSD worth of turnover.

Manager of Republic Statistics Institute, Dragan Vukmirović, says that the data on market share can be obtained on the basis of official business results of the company, which are forwarded to the Institute.
