"Jat Airways" and "Montenegro Airlines" negotiate about joint appearance

- General managers of national airliners of Serbia and Montenegro
will meet today (December 11, 2007) and have the second round of talks about business cooperation and
joint appearance in Europe - "JAT Airways" announced.
According to the announcement, general managers of "Montenegro Airlines" and "Jat airways", Zoran Đurišić and Saša Vlaisavljević, reached a principal agreement on December 6 in Podgorica on joint appearance of the companies within the scope of the Agreement on open sky.
Open sky enables all air
transportation companies from European Union to fly to any airport on its
territory without limits and with timely announcement of the flight.
Countries of southeast Europe that are in the process of admission into EU, among which are Serbia and Montenegro, are enabled to join the agreement. According to the earlier announcements from the Directorate for Civil Aviation, Serbia should ratify the Agreement on open sky in the first half of year 2008.
