Ammunition plant construction starts in Pozega municipality - By July 2017, 350 workers to be hired

Vucic then said that Serbia will invest more in the army and that the ammunition of 12.7 mm is in great demand in the world.

Investor of the new facility is Borbeni slozeni sistemi doo, which is part of Jugoimport SDPR system while the contractor is PMC Inzenjering.

It was planned that the first and second stage of plant construction is completed by July 2017, when it will employ 350 workers. After the third stage of plant construction, whose completion is planned for 2020, it will employ 100 workers more.
