Sale of Yugoslav River Shipping stopped - "Palmali Shipping" lodged complaint

Privatization Agency of Serbia announced on Friday (December 7, 2007) that it had stopped privatization of Yugoslav River Shipping (JRB) due to complaint lodged by secon-ranked bidder - consortium from Malta led by "Palmali Shipping".

According to the web site of the Agency, sale of 66.99% of assets of Yugoslav River Shipping will be resumed after the second-grade organ makes the decision on the complaint. The best bid on the tender for Yugoslav River Shipping was given by Cypriot-Singaporean company "Tamoza Trading" and "Daxin Petroleum", which offered 32.25m EUR and investments in amount of 10m EUR.
