Dutch Royal De Heus pours EUR 20 m in cattle food production in Serbia

Dutch company, Royal De Heus Group, is planning to employ 250 people and provide production capacity of app. 350,000 tons of high-quality animal food, partly through investing in an existing factory in Sabac and partly through purchase of two production plants. Total investment in production capacity would be EUR 20 m.

Owner and CEO Koen De Heus said the topic of the meeting with representatives of relevant ministries, SCC and NALED was their recent investments and their view of further investment development in agriculture or livestock production. .

The objective is, as he said, to get production which will be minimally based on chemicals and antibiotics usage and all other substances in order to have healthy animal meat.
