Pirot-based Tigar today officially opened a new plant for production of rubber mixtures where it invested EUR 1.2 m.

GM at Tiger Nebojsa Djenadic said at the opening of factory area on ​​1,780 square meters that the company which is in the status of a previously prepared plan of reorganization(prepack plan) succeeded to implement an investment of 1.2 million euros for nine months.

Minister of labor, employment, social and veterans' Affairs Aleksandar Vulin said that Tiger is a good example that the state can be an effective owner , and that may be in the market, socially and socially responsible .

Tiger employs 1,600 workers .
