Profit of Srbijagas totals RSD 4,7 billion in Q1 2016

In Q1 2016, profit of Srbijagas totaled RSD 4.7 billion while operating expenses were reduced by RSD 161 m or 13 %, that public company has announced today.At the end of Q1 2016, Srbijagas had a loss of one billion and at the end of the year a a profit of RSD 2.9 billion.Good business results in the first months of 2016, as explained, resulted from sales growth of gas by 5.4 % and the price of this fuel in the world market fell from 350 to 180 dollars per thousand cubic meters. In addition, demands for delivered gas are reduced from 4.2 billion, as they were in 2015, to RSD 2.1 billion, or nearly 50 %.
