EBRD supports corporate restructuring of public companies in Serbia

Minister of finance Dusan Vujovic discussed, during the spring session of the IMF and the World Bank in Washington with EBRD President Suma Chakrabarti implementation of existing cooperation programs of EBRD and Serbia, which include support for a restructuring of the financial sector and public enterprises and development of business environment, the Ministry of Finance announced.

He said this financial institution will, through knowledge and loans, support corporate restructuring of EPS, Srbijagas and other public enterprises and will actively involve in resolving questions of problematic loans, based on the Strategy passed by the Government of Serbia and where the National Bank of Serbia and the Ministry of Finance have been working on jointly.
