The Foundation of Serbian pharmaceutical
company "Hemofarm" organized
the reception party in New York last night (December 4, 2007) with the intention to stimulate American
partners and friends to help in collecting of funds for the whole series of
humanitarian projects that this company intends to implement in Banat, including
construction of apartments for socially endangered people, as well as
infrastructural projects.
At the first gathering of about 30 American business partners of company "Hemofarm" from Vršac, few tens of thousands of dollars were collected, but, as the representative of this company for USA, Nebojša Vujović, announced, a gala charity dinner for about 800 guests will be organized at the beginning of the next year in Chicago.
Guests of the New York humanitarian campaign were welcomed by the President of this company, Miodrag Babić, and Serbian Ambassador to Washington,
Ivan Vujačić, who thanked the guests for the contributions for the most endangered inhabitants of Banat and they expressed hope that Serbia would have more opportunities for positive promotion of the country and economic potentials in the years to come.
Among the guests were the partners of "Hemofarm" in this charity event - managerial company "Signature Resources", a laywer Rober Lanca from New York, as well as the Ambassador of Serbia within United Nations - Pavle Jevremović.
