Slovenian company "Elma TT" opened unit for production of transformers in Bačka Topola

President of the Executive Council of Vojvodina, Bojan Pajtić, opened the unit for production of transformers of Slovenian company "Elma TT" yesterday (December 3, 2007) in Bačka Topola. The value of this investment is 44.5m RSD.

Production facility that occupies 2,300 square meters will enable hiring of 20 workers in direct production and 12 workers through various aspects of cooperation.

Expected volume of production is 500 tons of transofmers per year and projected gross income is 1.8m EUR. Nearly the whole production is intended for the buyers in European Union and surrounding countries.

On that occasion, Pajtić said that the basic task of all government institutions was to create new jobs and he reminded that the provincial government had invested almost half of the funds in the production facility that is the of Slovenian company "Elma TT".
