European Commission is waiting for replies of Serbian authorities with respect to Zelezara

He said that Brussels has seen a discussion in recent days on the subject of Smederevo-based steel plant.

According to him, the Serbian delegation presented its plans for the steel plant and the European Commission have asked specific questions about it .

- We would expect to get specific answers to the questions – Davenport said.

He specified it is state aid and expressed confidence that there will be more contacts with representatives of Serbia with respect to that topic .

Davenport underlined that discussions have been ongoing again and repeated that the European Commission has asked questions to which it expects replies.
