The best European athletes will bring 5000 tourists to Belgrade - Preparations for the European indoor championship in progress

During the European Indoor Athletics Championships in 2017 it is expected more than 5,000 tourists will visit Belgrade. Secretary General of the Athletic Federation of Serbia Slobodan Brankovic said the organization C= of the championships started last year in June and it has been in progress already. - Contracts with hotels are ready, we can say Belgrade will be crowded during this period. We hope that more than 5,000 tourists will visit the city - he said.European Athletics Indoor Championships will be held March 3 to 5, 2017 in Belgrade Arena. It is expected that app. 1,000 of the best European athletes from 50 countries will participate. Before the start of the European Championship two rehearsals in the Arena will be held, February 17 will see the Balkan Championship and February 28 will see the second "Serbian Open" .Vice President of the European Athletics Federation Dobromir Karamarinov said he expects good organization of the European Championship.
