Commission for river basin of the Sava river founded, free entrance to all ports and tributaries

Zagreb will be host to the future headquarters of the International Commission for river basin of the Sava river. Four countries, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia and Montenegro, which make up the Sava Commission, met in Zagreb where the president of the Commission was elected – the representative of BiH Kemal Karkin. His deputy is Branko Bačić, State Secretary of Sea in Croatian Ministry.

According to the agreement, the ships of 4 singatory countries will have free entrance to all ports and tributaries for the sake of loading or unloading of goods along the river basin of the Sava all the way to Sisak and its mouth to the Danube near Belgrade.
