Serbian trucks and buses market in the fifth speed

According to orders local importers have, sales of trucks and trailers or vehicles in the first three months in Serbia has increased by 25 %. There were no major purchase, vendors say, since 2013, and now everyone would like to replace an old fleet with a new one which spends less and is less hazardous for the environment. There has been a growing demand for buses which, unlike trucks, are produced by us. Only Mercedes, through Ikarbus, sold 70 buses for public transport last year.

Stronger economic activity, increased scope of work and the need for transport as well as expansion of trade in the region is good news for trucks importers which these days generated record results in sales.Sale of commercial vehicles, particularly vans and small trucks of 7.5 tons has been on the increase. Only Fiat sold more than 300 methane-driven vehicles at the fair.Calculation of carriers when they buy a truck or van through loan is clear – vehicle pays off for three to five years, old cars sale generates profit.
