Italy's Tiesse opens footwear factory in Sabac - Plan to employ 150 women

Italy's Tiesse, a company engaged in the production of high-quality footwear in five countries of the world, has unveiled its plan to open a new firm in Sabac. On that occasion, Jon Magda from Tiesse talked with the unemployed women of Sabac who are the target group for jobs at that company.
Magda says that the company has its headquarters in Treviso, Italy, adding that they have traveled the whole of Serbia to find the best possible location for the new factory and found it in the vicinity of Sabac.
- Today we talk with the unmployed women of Sabac in order to determine how many of them are able to start working right away. We will also organize a training for new employees. The plan for the first phase is to hire 150 women to work in three shifts, while the second phase should see the installation of assembly line. In that way, Sabac will be making a top-notch footwear. We are currently making more than a million pairs of shoes in India, Bulgaria and Italy per year - Jon Magda noted.
Sabac Mayor Nebojsa Zelenovic reminded that an objective of responsible local self-government was to provide jobs for fellow citizens, it was announced on the website of the Sabac municipality.
