Belgrade gets smart street lightning - PPP underway between the City and PC Javno osvetljenje

The Mayor of Belgrade Sinisa Mali and the main city urbanist Milutin Folic attended yesterday release of a new street smart street lighting in Belgrade, Beoinfo reports.

The mayor outlined this kind of public lighting was installed for the first time in this part of Europe.

According to him, the project implementation could be finished by the end of the year, which will, in addition to electricity savings, provide more beautiful aesthetic effect because the city will be better illuminated.Representative of Zumtobel company which donated led bulb, Sasa Jelaca, expressed satisfaction that the company managed to set up a partnership with the City of Belgrade and lights Beogradska street.

In Beogradska ulica 18 LED lamps of European manufacturer Torn, which is part of Zumtobel Group were installed with accompanying sensors and advanced central monitoring and control system. Installed lamps comply with the strictest EU norms and quality standards.

Head of PC Javno osvetljenje, Aleksandar Cincar Poposki, also attended the event.
