Arabs eye fish ponds in Secanj municipality

Prospective investors from Abu Dhabi and Dubai are interested in investing in the fishing sector in the municipality of Secanj, claims Predrag Milosevic, the mayor of this municipality in central Banat, who has recently returned from the World Investment and Property Fair in Cannes.
Milosevic explains that there are nearly 4,000 hectares under fish ponds in this municipality, adding that this agricultural potential could be a great chance for the development of Secanj.
- Businessmen from Abu Dhabi and Dubai that I've talked with are considering opening a fish processing and canning plant, for which they have ideal conditions in our municipality – says Milosevic.
