Commencement of reconstruction of system for transport and disposal of ash and slag in Steam Power Plant "Kostolac B" - investment worth 23.5m EUR

Electric Power Company of Serbia has announced that reconstruction of system for transport and disposal of ash and slag in Steam Power Plant "Kostolac B" will start on Friday, November 23, 2007, in "Steam Power Plants and Surface Pits Kostolac" .

Thanks to that investment, worth 23.5m EUR, environment protection in Kostolac will be significantly improved.

EPS finances this project with the money from the loan approved by European Bank for Rehabilitation and Development, and project will be realized by the consortium of German companies "Engineering Dobersek GmbH" and "Moeller Materials Handling".
