Serbia to get new law that regulates temporary employment after elections

Serbian Minister of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy Aleksandar Vulin said today that after the elections, the Law on Temporary Employment Agencies would be among the first to take effect and, thus, protect the rights of more than 50,000 workers hired through agencies.
- The largest agencies have found temporary jobs for 12,000 people, but the number of workers who got hired through smaller agencies, including those which have a different core business, is much bigger. Estimates are that over 50,000 our fellow citizens have got their job in this way - said Vulin.
- Once this new law is passed, we will finally be able to protect all workers who use the services of an agency to get a job - he underlined.
Vulin noted that aforementioned law would prevent agencies from charging high fees for finding someone a job.
