Electric Power Company of Serbia looks for new CEO

The Serbian government today announced an open competition for the position of CEO at the Electric Power Company of Serbia (EPS) for a four-year term.
All interested candidates can submit their job applications over the next 30 days.

Eligible candidates are those who have a diploma from at least a four-year faculty, minimum five years of work experience and three years of work in the area of business of the EPS, and they cannot be members of any political party.

The Serbian government dismissed Aleksandar Obradovic from the position of CEO in early March because they were not satisfied with how he was running the reorganization of that public company and because he did not comply with austerity measures.

Obradovic was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the EPS in October 2014, and before that he had served two terms as the acting CEO of the EPS.

After relieving Obradovic of duty, the Serbian government named Milorad Grcic, the former general manager of the Kolubara Mining Basin, the new acting CEO of the EPS.
