There is still no privatization model of Luka Novi Sad

The Minister of Economy Zeljko Sertic said on Tuesday, March 22, that although investors have been invited by to deliver letters of interest for Luka Novi Sad by March 30, so far, there has been no defined model for that potential privatization.

- We still do not have a defined model, we have just made a decision to start the administrative process of preparing documents - Sertic said to reporters after visiting Indjija-based Plamen.

He stated that Luka Novi Sad has legal obligation to carry out a series of legal actions to see what is needed to register rights, what public property is in the port activities, etc.

Sertic outlined that there is no reason to worry because possible strategic partner for Luka Novi Sad can only be the operator, not the owner of the land and infrastructure.
