Turks invest 12m EUR in construction of two factories in Boljevac

Turkish company "Ozer motor" from Istanbul has signed the contract in Boljevac on construction of two factories for wood impregnation and assembling of electric motors and mechanical equipment. This "greenfield" investment is worth 12m EUR.

Turkish companies in Serbia will found the branch office named "Evroozer". Following the construction of the factories, about 100 workers will get jobs and that number will later be doubled.

- Our plan is to become the leading company in Serbia that deals with production of electric motors and mechanical equipment, as well as to export major part of our production. Since Boljevac is not far away from the border with Bulgaria and Romania, our intention is to enter these markets - said Esat Durak, a representative of "Ozer motor".

Turks obtained three hectares of land at the very entrance of the town for free for the largest "greenfield" investment in Boljevac.
