Close to EUR 1 million for new tractors - Provincial Agriculture Development Fund grants first 60 loans in 2016

The Provincial Agriculture Development Fund has approved the first 60 loans in this year for the procurement of tractors, and the value of contracts signed Friday, March 18th, is approximately EUR 1 million.

That is the first out of five spring credit lines, and Provincial Agriculture Development Fund Director Jozef Sabo said that it was launched after it had been realized that agriculture machinery in Vojvodina was outdated.

The loan repayment period is 5.5 years, with a grace period of six months and a deposit of 20%, while the tractor that is the subject of procurement serves as a guarantee.

The Provincial Agriculture Development Fund has so far granted 461 loans for the procurement of tractors, setting aside more than RSD 300 million for that purpose.
