"Rudnik" from Gornji Milanovac earned 2.5m EUR from export of apparel - 25% more than in 2006

- Fashion company "Rudnik" in Gornji Milanovac delivers clothing worth more than 200,000 EUR to the partners in European Union every month, so that the value of this-year export could reach 2.5m EUR, 25% more than last year - said General Manager Milan Dmitrović.

People from "Rudnik" say that the export results would be even better if there wasn't for fall in exchange rate of euro by 15% in regard to dinar, which has special impact on textile industry.

Although the units of "Rudnik" in Gornji Milanovac, Topola and Belgrade now work at full steam, the company is not able to cover expenses of operations and provide salary rise for 700 employees in the newly created situation. By the way, average monthly salary in this company is only 150 EUR.
