Samsung to launch new social media network called Waffle

A new social media networks that is going to be launched by the Samsung company will allow its members to post photos that their family, friends and acquaintances can annotate by adding their own pictures or drawings.
This social network is named Waffle after the horisontal and vertical grid of fields that can extend indefinitely, and the project authors are engineers from Samsung Creativity Lab (C-Lab) that develops and tests new products.

- Waffle enables its users to share their view of someone else's photo, while generating a collaborative story at the same time - the company noted.

This network, which is still under development, was presented by Samsung at the SXSW festival in Texas.

Beta version of this application is currently available for Android devices.
