EBRD pours EUR 30 m in SME sector - Three-year loan to Komercijalna banka

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will approve to Komercijalna banka a three-year loan of EUR 30 m which it will offer to its clients - small and medium enterprises across the country, with a focus on rural areas and areas outside of Belgrade.

This transaction will, as stated in the announcement, to enable Komercijalna banka to diversify its funding structure, ensure continuous liquidity at the loan market for SMEs, promote investments in the private sector and support economic recovery.

The loan agreement was signed in Belgrade by the first VP Phil Bennett and Chief Executive Officer of Komercijalna banka, Alexander Picker.
